Strong City Baltimore’s Neighborhood Institute is an annual networking and skill-building event. Its aim is to provide community residents, neighborhood leaders, and community development professionals with the training they need to build on assets and tackle challenges big and small.
From fundraising to building coalitions, recruiting volunteers, and advocating for your school or community, guests will attend workshops intended to outfit community members with a toolbox of skills to help them make Baltimore’s neighborhoods stronger.
New to Neighborhood Institute this year: a workshop track for young adults ages 14-22!
Tickets are available at varying price ranges to fit the needs and budgets of any individual, non-profit, community association, or corporate group. Early Bird Pricing ends March 14th, 2018.
Scholarships are available. Please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org for information.
Sponsors help make Neighborhood Institute happen. We can’t put on a day long event for 400+ people without the generous donation of partners.
We want companies committed to change, companies like yours, to be a part of our efforts. Join us today and become a sponsor for a weekend of celebrating with and learning from devoted Baltimore community leaders, residents and businesses committed to making our city stronger!
Thanks for the Workshop Proposals!
As of December 22nd, we have accepted over 60 workshop proposals from leaders across Baltimore City. Strong City Baltimore Staff alongside the Neighborhood Institute Community Advisory Board will begin the review process in early January. Announcements will be made by mid-January.
