Registration dates for ABE and ELA Fall classes:

ABE Classes (Pre-GED and GED): By appointment on Wednesday, August 30 and  Tuesday, September 5

ELA Classes (English Language/ESOL/ESL): By appointment on Thursday, August 31 and Wednesday, September 6

New learners are accepted up to two weeks into the term. Call 410-261-3517 for late registration appointments. Registration for the spring term will take place by appointment the week of January 8.

How do I register for classes?

You must make an appointment to register for classes. Call Ms. Davis at 410-261-3517 to make an appointment. Registration is a three to four hour process. You will learn about the expectations of the program, fill out paperwork, and take a computerized placement test. Everyone is welcome to register regardless of immigration status. If you have a social security number or permanent resident card, please bring it with you, but it is not required.

Registration takes place at Strong City’s Adult Learning Center (or at the off-site locations listed at the bottom of this page):

When do classes start?

Summer Intensive classes (4 days per week, Monday-Thursday) start July 10, 2017 and conclude on August 17, 2017.

Fall classes (two days per week) start September 11, 2017 and conclude December 14, 2017.

Spring classes (two days per week) start January 16, 2017 and conclude June 7, 2018.

Offsite Registration and Classes

Registration for Offsite classes takes place at the Adult Learning Center, located at 3501 N Charles St, Baltimore, MD 21218 on the dates above. Classes at these locations are held during the fall and spring semesters only. No summer classes are held at the locations below.
