Volunteers are at the heart of Strong City Baltimore, indispensable in carrying out our mission. As a volunteer, you will enjoy meaningful work while making a positive impact in your community. Our volunteers range from young children to senior citizens and come not only from nearby neighborhoods but from all over the metropolitan area. You can become a Strong City Baltimore volunteer in the following areas:

  • Adult Learning Center: Volunteer as a tutor, classroom assistant, or learner advocate to work with our learners one-on-one to support their educational experience at the ALC. All volunteers will complete a two hour training and orientation..
  • 29th St Community Center: Volunteer  with the after-school program, arts, STEM, and other youth programming assistance at the center.
  • One-Time Volunteer Events: Be a volunteer at the upcoming Baltimore Craft Beer Festival and Community Shred Day! For more information on these events, please contact us at AND fill out the online application below.

**ATTENTION: We are looking for volunteers to help at two major community evenings coming up:

The Baltimore Craft Beer Festival: Saturday, October 7th at Canton Waterfront Park. Volunteers are needed to help with admissions, ticketing, water-selling, and breakdown. All volunteers must be 21+ and receive FREE entry and a beer sampling glass in exchange for volunteer shift. To sign up to volunteer, please fill out this online form or call 410-251-3519.
