Real Talk on Public Education in Baltimore City: Why and What’s the Difference?

Gertrude S. Williams Speaker Series with Amanda Carr, Sara Hubbard Long, and Francesca Gamber
Why and What’s the Difference? How we engage our communities through diverse programming with traditional, charter, and magnet public schools in Baltimore City

The Gertrude S. Williams Speaker Series is back with “Real Talk on Public Education in Baltimore City.” Our speakers for this event are Amanda Carr, Principal of the Barclay Elementary/Middle School, Sara Huppert Long, Principal of Federal Hill Prep, Francesca Gamber, Principal of Bard HS Early College, and Mike Chalupa, Director of City Neighbors Foundation.

The question the public should ask, as it searches to redesign our schools is, “Where is the public good?”…. The real bottom line is that when all our children are well educated, the entire nation will benefit.
Linda Darling-Hammond, Stanford University

The event is free admission, but donations are encouraged! Doors open at 6:30 and the event will take place from 7:00-8:30 on Monday, June 18th, 2018. Please RSVP below.
