General info: The 9th annual Neighborhood Institute will begin with a panel discussion on how neighborhood leaders can fight inequality with transformative solutions for building community wealth.  Panelists include Peter Sabonis, Director of Legal Strategies at the National Economic and Social Rights Initiative, Davin Hong, Founder and Principal of the Living Design Lab, and Heather R. Mizeur, former two-term member of the Maryland House of Delegates and a Democratic candidate for Governor in the 2014 primary election. The session will be moderated by Diane Bell McKoy, CEO of Associated Black Charities. Panelists will discuss how the interconnection of schools, housing, and the local economy can create sustainable community change.
