The Gertude S. Williams Speaker Series is back for its first installment of 2018! Our featured speaker is Yahwon, who is a Baltimore based writer and social justice advocate born in West Africa and raised in the Ivory Coast.

She is the owner and curator of goldwomyn.com, author of Teaching Goldmah How to Heal Herself and Creative Director at Broken English Co. Her writing includes her experiences as an immigrant, blackness, healing, and African women made from flowers.

The event is free admission, but donations are encouraged! Doors open at 5:30 and the event will take place from 6-7:30 PM (New Time) on Monday, January 15th, 2018. Please RSVP below.
