Computer lab at Barclay Rec thanks to Digit All Systems

June 7, 2013

This Wednesday June 5, the newly reopened former Barclay Recreation Center received a generous donation from Digit All Systems, a non-profit organization committed to bridging the digital divide and bringing the benefits of expanding technology to everyone.

IMAG0286

With the help of Lance Lucas, Joe Sutton, and the entire Digit All System team, fifteen flat screen computer monitors in excellent condition were brought to the community center. This is a huge step in facilitating the vision of starting up a fully functioning computer lab in the new center. The computer lab will provide a space for students to do computer related work after school as well as serve as a community hub for job resources and computer skills training.

This was all made possible with the help of Daniel Atzmon, who connected GHCC to Digit All Systems. We are extremely grateful for the support of Daniel and his team and we look forward to getting the computer lab up and running this fall!
