Building and Strengthening Neighborhoods and People

The 29th Street Community Center

Since its reopening in 2013, The 29th Street Community Center, a program of Strong City Baltimore, has become a neighborhood asset – a truly remarkable space run for and by the community.

Adult Learning Center

Strong City Baltimore’s Adult Learning Center has provided classes in Adult Basic Education and English Language Acquisition, as well as citizenship preparation to residents, all at no cost.

Fiscal Sponsorship & Management

Starting and maintaining a non-profit can be difficult and costly. At Strong City Baltimore, we leverage our administrative expertise and capacity to support projects engaged in charitable activities.

Neighborhood Programs

Strong City’s neighborhood-based activities are intrinsically linked to our efforts to strengthen communities and schools so that all residents are engaged in improving neighborhood quality of life.

The Club at Collington Square

The Club at Collington Square is an afterschool and summer program serving 90 children in the Collington Square neighborhood of East Baltimore.

Strong City VISTA

Every year, Strong City develops and supports nonprofit and community leaders who are passionate about service and community development as they serve as AmeriCorps VISTA members.
